Remember Me is a painting that happened because of a look in her eye when I was in the middle of painting. It reminded me of when you think back wistfully about someone that you loved and now they are gone. It is sort of a little pain and sweetness all at the same time. You wonder if they still remember you and the time you had. I was thinking how that feeling is kind of awful and wonderful. at the same time.

This painting is about the past. She is thinking of a long time ago , but it still is fresh. You, everyone has had that experience. sweet and sour at the same time.

the soap lake nudes are historically accurate

It turns out the nudes I did actually are more than symbolic of the feeling you get at soap lake. Apparently people still do bathe nude there on the west beach. Well they must have felt it so much that they actually still do it.

I hope this is a good thing for my show. As everyone knows you have to be able to relate to something to buy it.

Gamine is a French word, the feminine form of gamin, originally meaning urchin, waif or playful, naughty child.

The word was used in English from about the mid 19th century (for example, by Thackeray in 1840 in one of his Parisian sketches), but, in the 20th century, came to be applied in its more modern sense of a slim, often boyish, wide-eyed young woman who is, or is perceived to be, mischievous, teasing or sexually appealing.
